You can collect Citronal Seeds by using a Metal Sickle or Steel Sickle on Grass and Bushes. Recommended you also can use a Creature/Dinosaur like Parasaur, Triceratops or Sauropod to get a lot of Berries or Seeds.

Citronal Seeds can be placed on Dirt to grow them to Citronal. You can use Citronal for taming Herbivores almost 2 times faster than normal Berries like Mejoberries. A placed Citronal Seed needs Water for growing.
