The Megarock Dragon is one of the creatures in Pixark.

Museum descriptions[ | ]

Wild[ | ]

Megarock Dragons are mostly found in deep caves that are under the Doom Lands biome. Despite the fact that they may seem intimidating for the player, they are very slow and don't represent an important threat if the player remains aware of their surroundings.

Tame[ | ]

The mouth of a Megarock Dragon can destroy almost any mineral. People usually tame them for plundering underground mines. Their power in combat isn't to be scoffed at, either.

Appearance[ | ]

Red eyes, has a lava rock glowing at its head.

Megarock Dragon Tamed

Roughly 13 blocks long & 5 blocks high

Behavior[ | ]

Megarock Dragons are aggressive and will attempt to bite your character and use earth magic attacks against it.

Taming[ | ]

Note: Non-magical Sleepy Arrows fired from a bow or crossbow deliver extra torpor over time for 5 seconds after impact. Only two instances of this effect can be in effect at once - a third arrow hit before the effect has fully resolved will result in potential torpor being wasted. For maximum efficiency, time your shots so that they land 5 seconds apart. The numbers given here are assuming you do so.

For passive tames, there is a long wait between the first and second feedings as the creature eats, after which it follows the feeding intervals listed. These feeding intervals are estimates - the actual interval will vary per-creature based on random chance.

Utility[ | ]

Great to gather ores, they can "eat" a whole mountain in minutes! It can dig any kind of cube from dirt to gold!, But can't gather magic stones only destroys them.

Additional notes[ | ]

  • Digs in chunks of 3x3 (1-3 blocks depth depending on head position) in front of the head, making digging forward extremely difficult. Most efficient when digging in straight lines while walking backwards. It has potential to be an extremely proficient digging tool, but it is extremely unwieldy.
  • Bite power is equivalent to a Steel Pickaxe, ores such as Gold and Silver require two hits to mine.
