The Petroleum Pump is an item in Pixark.
Overview[edit | edit source]
"Part of a petroleum collection system. Place the lower end inside petroleum to start extraction."
Crafting[edit | edit source]
The Petroleum Pump is crafted in the Workbench.
Usage[edit | edit source]
The Petroleum Pump extracts Oil from deposits found in caverns. The pump must be placed one block above an oil deposit, with the input pipe dipping into the oil, as illustrated below. Liquid oil will be pumped via Petroleum Pipe to a Petroleum Tower for filling Barrels of Oil.
Additional notes[edit | edit source]
- The pump does not require fuel, nor to be activated. It just works.
- The pump can be rotated with the Use button (<E> on PC) prior to placement.
- Petroleum pipes may only be attached to one side of the pump.
- Oil blocks are 'not' consumed in the pumping process so a single deposit may be used indefinitely.
