Thatch can be harvested from the Grass in every biome with the exception of Magic Forests, where it is replaced with Magic Fiber.

Thatch is a component for many recipes, and is a low-energy fuel that doesn't produce charcoal when burned. It is also used to 'fuel' the Phiomia Hut for producing Fertilizer.
