Usage[ | ]
Can be used to mine in a 2x2 area, as opposed to mining one block at a time with a pick. Can only mine non-magical ore. Uses Coal in your inventory as fuel.
Additional notes[ | ]
- Using a drill to gather Flint will give much higher amounts per block than a pick.
- As of 1.8, drilling west, north, or down will drill a 2x2 square behind the target block as well, effectively mining an 8-block 2x2x2 area at a time instead of the normal 4 blocks. This is likely a bug.
- Can be used to mine almost all blocks with the exception of Copper, Iron, Marble, Quartz, Silver and Magic Stones.
