Ocean Ruins are only found fully submerged in the deepest parts of the Deep Ocean. It is not uncommon to find them at the base of an Island. Ocean ruins are comprised of Ocean Ruins Cubes.
Overview
The submerged location of the Ocean Ruins combined with its glowing ruin blocks give it a definitive Atlantean feel. Being fully at the bottom of the ocean provides a unique challenge to survivors wishing to explore it. It is guarded by ruins Megapiranhas and Anglers in its upper, flooded halls, while the lower unflooded halls are patrolled various aggressive Slimes and Elemental Spirits.
