Rivers are a sub-biome of the Deep Ocean Biome.

Utility

Rivers provide easy access to Sand, Clay and Flint as well as easy access to water for irrigation.

Notes

Note that Rivers can bisect any other biome. When they intersect with a ruin, they can remove the blocks surrounding it, causing it to partially or even fully float over the surrounding landscape.
