Crafted from a single Pegasus Horn (and no other ingredients) at the Magical Workbench
Usage
As a weapon, the Shining Wand fires magical bolts up to 8 blocks from the player. The damage is comparable to a Copper Sword.
As a tool, the Shining Wand mines blocks such as Dirt and Rock at about half the speed of a Copper Pickaxe. It is slightly faster at mining gems than a Wood Wand, taking approx. 11.5 seconds to mine 4 blocks, to the Wood Wand's 13.5 seconds, but it cannot harvest metals or other hard materials such as Sulphur.
As illustrated below, the Shining Wand shines brightly, creating lens flare effects and partially obscuring the player's vision. It does not cast light on the player's surroundings.
